Lesson 4: Review & Reflection

Overview: In this final lesson, students will be introduced to the practice of peer review and reflection on each other's work.  They will have a completed portfolio display of three pieces that communicate three different things to their viewing classmates and they will have learned how to use three new art mediums. In order to demonstrate their understanding of the concepts and ideas explored, students will talk about the messages they feel are communicated through each art piece. Students will be asked and should be able to answer the initial essential question with everything they have learned.

After the class critique, each student will receive an assessment rubric to grade themselves based on the criteria and requirements of the project.
