Overview: Students will be finalizing their understanding of communication in the art world and be allowed to demonstrate their understanding of the concepts and ideas explored, by putting the techniques into practice using mixed media of their choice and, or art materials they have been introduced to. Students will participate in a mindfulness exercise about communicating the meaning of the word "home" to them specifically. They will use what they thought about in the activity to by paint an abstract landscape art piece. Students will be asked to identify the reason why some people may view home differently as they compare two different artist representations of their homes.
